Widad EL HANAFI earned a Masters Degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from Al Akhawayn University in Morocco in 2003. As part of her M.A. research project, Widad conducted an internship at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo for three months.
After her graduation from Al Akhawayn University, She worked in the area of Governance and Democracy with the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI-Morocco).
She then participated in the MEPI- Law & Business Fellowship program (LBFP) for 2005-2006 in U.S.A. During this program, Widad benefited from a one-month executive MBA at Duke University and then followed a three month internship in the area of lobbying and strategic planning with Collins & Company in Arlington- Virginia.
Widad has joined IIE since 2008 to implement the Women in Technology (WIT) in Morocco as Country Program Manager. Currently, Widad is the Country Director for the E-mediat program in Morocco, a new technology training and capacity building program run by IIE.

El Mehdi Zeroual earned a Bachelor Degree in Communication Studies from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane in 2009. In his thesis, El Mehdi conducted a research on the use of mobile communication by Moroccan youth. Before graduating, he did three months internship in the Ministry of National Education on GENIE project which aims at introducing New Communication Technologies to public schools.
After his graduation from Al Akhawayn University, he worked in the area of democracy and governance as a program assistant in the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI-Morocco) in the Political Parties program.
El Mehdi has recently joined IIE as the Training Coordinator for the E-mediat Morocco, a new technology training and capacity building program run by IIE.

Nour Eddine Achemlal graduated with a business administration degree from Mohammed V University in Rabat. He worked for companies specialized in information technology and Internet services before re-joining the University for a Degree in management and coordination of social development projects. Through a professional internship during his studies, he was able to get close to associations and discovered that there is a large gap in communication and use of new technologies.
Since 2007, he works as ICT4D project manager (ICT for Development) in association Ta nmia.ma to promote the use of new information technologies and communication at the level of Moroccan associations. In partnership with several organizations including UNDP, UNESCO, MEPI, USAID and others he has managed several projects f or capacity building on ICT, open source software, podcasting, social networks, e-learning, e-advoca cy ...
