7 steps to outline your Blog Content Strategy

What is content strategy?
It is a process that helps you plan, create, distribute a useful content to meet your NGO as well as your audience objectives.
When you decide to create a blog for your NGO, the content you display on your site becomes the link between your NGO and your audience. It will either help your meet your audience expectations and your objectives as an NGO or it will fail you.
It is important to strategically plan you blog content rather than taking the habit of random posting and these are that can help you achieve that:
1-     Define your goals an NGO:
2-     Define your blog objectives:
3-     How will your blog support your NGO?
4-     Team work: a blog can be run by one person but in the framework of NGOs, it is better to have a team
5-     Divide tasks and responsibilities: design/ delegate the right task to the right person
6-     Identify content:
-        Start listening: this will help you determine your audience expectations. What would engage users to your blog? Start using listening tools and search methods.
-        Diversify your content:  interviews, articles, guests, your success stories, summary of your NGO activities/updates,  videos, photos
7-     Set a timeline: prepare a timeline that will help you organize your content strategy (you can use google calendar as a tool)
